During the last couple of months we have made many changes to the underlying systems powering the TrackABus platform. We have met some important milestones in improving our ability to be able to scale effectively. That is, adding new cities to our tracking system has become much easier on the back end. At the same time the efficiency of the whole process is greatly improving. The public facing website has remained much the same for a number of months now, however the back end site for operators has seen many rapid improvements. Our team is very pleased with the process.
One particular aspect of these changes is that we are moving towards a model whereby the DNS resolution incident of some months ago, where our website was unreachable, will not occur in the future. Moreover, if our office loses internet connectivity then we will be able to continue by automatically switching over to running in the cloud.
